Rachael Phillips, LMSW
Practice Owner and Clinical Therapist
As a licensed therapist with over 9 years of experience working in the clinical field, my goal is to create a safe, relaxed (sometimes even funny!) and judgment-free space where you can become the best version of yourself.
During my graduate studies at Wayne State University, I specialized in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but my primary goal is to build a strong connection with my clients and engage in meaningful, impactful conversations.
As an LGBTQ-identified therapist, I have specialization in LGBTQ-related experiences, but I love working with individuals and couples of all backgrounds. Having been in the client seat myself, I know how challenging it can be to find the right therapist. That’s why I strive to create a supportive and comfortable space where you can have meaningful conversations that foster real growth and change.
When I’m not working, I love traveling, enjoying a delicious meal with a glass of wine, and I’m always up for a Broadway show or a round of golf. I’m also a big music fan and enjoy browsing record stores to find new vinyl for my collection. If music is something you connect with too, I’d love to explore new songs or artists that might be helpful or even therapeutic for you during our sessions.
